Terms & disclaimer
Last updated: 1 October 2026
These terms apply when you use truckcabs.co.za and when you buy truck cabs or parts from C.A.B.S. Please read them before you buy. Nothing in these terms takes away any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA), where those Acts apply to you.

Our listings
- Most of our cabs and parts are used (second-hand). If the condition matters to you, ask before you buy: we are happy to send more photos, or you can view the item at our yard by appointment.
- Each cab listing shows what is fitted to the cab, and each part shows the make, model and years it fits. We describe items as accurately as we can; if we find a mistake, we correct it.
- Stock changes quickly. A listing is not an offer to sell: we confirm availability and the price when we quote.
Prices and quotes
- Prices are in South African rand. Where an item shows no price, ask us for one.
- Your quote sets out the full price, including any VAT, transport or other costs, and how long the quote is valid.
- A sale is agreed when you accept our quote and we confirm the sale.
- If we make an obvious mistake in a price, we will tell you, and you can choose whether to go ahead at the correct price.
Fitment
Send us your truck’s make, model and year, or its VIN, and we will confirm that the cab or part fits before you buy. Please check that the details you give us are correct. If we confirmed that an item fits the vehicle you described, it must be reasonably suitable for that vehicle; if it is not, see “Returns, warranty and refunds” below.
Payment
We do not take payments on this website. Your quote or invoice sets out how and when to pay.
Collection and delivery
- You can collect from our yard in Aureus, Randfontein, by appointment.
- If you need transport, ask us. Any transport we arrange, its cost and the expected delivery date are confirmed in your quote before you pay.
- Please check items when you collect or receive them, and tell us straight away about anything that does not match the listing or your quote.
Returns, warranty and refunds
If you change your mind
If you are an individual buying for your own use, and the sale was agreed electronically (for example by email or WhatsApp), ECTA lets you cancel without giving a reason and without penalty within 7 days after you receive the goods. The only cost to you is the direct cost of returning them. If you have already paid, we refund you in full within 30 days of your cancellation.
If an item is faulty or not as described
If the CPA applies to you (you are an individual, or a business with an annual turnover and asset value both below R2 million), you may return an item within 6 months after delivery if it is unsafe, has a defect, is not reasonably suitable for the purpose it was sold for or that you told us about, or does not match its description. The return is at our risk and cost, and we then repair it, replace it or refund you, as you choose. Because most of our items are used, their age and condition are taken into account, and a condition that we told you about, and that you agreed to accept, is not a defect.
Other returns
If an item does not fit because the vehicle details you gave us were wrong, or you would like to return an item for another reason, please ask us. We consider each request, but we only have to accept a return where these terms or the law give you the right to return the item.
How to return an item
Contact us before sending anything back, so that we can arrange the return and check the item. Please include your proof of purchase.

Disclaimer and limits on our liability
We work hard to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but it is general information and we cannot guarantee that it is always complete or free of errors. Complaints and disputes
If something goes wrong, please contact us first: we would rather put it right. If you are a consumer and we cannot resolve the matter, you may refer it to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO):
